ABOUT ANTHONY MacPHERSON

Born and raised in Fall River, Nova Scotia, Anthony has been a Toronto based performer and creator since 2010.  After graduating from Sheridan College with an Advanced Diploma in Music Theatre Performance, Anthony has traveled all over North America courtesy of two national tours: Matilda and Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Wizard of Oz.  He has also spent five summers at the Charlottetown Festival in Prince Edward Island, danced for

Canada's most established opera companies, starred as Peter Pan in The Ross Petty Panto: Peter Pan in Wonderland and even returned to his alma mater in 2018 to join the dance faculty.

Anthony is currently in Halifax teaching for The Neptune Theatre School and Halifax Regional Arts. Additionally, Anthony recently acquired an Honours Baccalaureate Degree in Musical Theatre Performance from Sheridan College with High Honours.

"Anthony MacPherson wins us over as Peter Pan with a cheeky charm, a fine sense of physicality and a grin that would make you follow him anywhere."

The Toronto Star

"...the smaller roles in this show were made exceptional because of the performers: Jade Repeta as one of the protesters, has physical comedy down to a fine art as does Anthony MacPherson as the mayor, a dead ringer physically for comedian Martin Short."

The Record

"[Anthony] slots seamlessly into a lead role here... A solid triple threat, he sings, acts and dances his way through the part with energetic ease."
